Covid-19

COVID-19

Following the Government directive on social distancing during Covid-19 Pandemic, we
have adjusted to how funerals are arranged and we are complying with new guidelines set by Cemeteries, Crematoria and Churches.

Here are a few examples of how we have adjusted to the current situation;

• We arrange funerals over the telephone wherever possible, our conference call facility can allow families in two separate addresses to be included.

• Should you want to meet in person we can meet in one of our offices by prior appointment or in your garden with a small number (i.e. 2-3) to enable us all to ensure social distancing.

• We can hold a service for small numbers in our Chapels of Rest prior to a burial.

• Crematoria and Cemeteries have their own guidelines on number of attendees and we will advise you on these.

• Funeral services can be webcast or recorded.

• Donations can be received at services, posted to our offices or paid directly into our donation account with a unique ref number given to you by us.

• Limousines are available for up to 6 people as our drivers are separated by a glass division.

• Our in-house florists can still provide fresh flowers floral tribute to fulfil your requirements.

• Chapel of rest visits are still available.

• We are still contactable 24 hours a day; 7 days a week.

We appreciate it is very challenging for you having to arrange a funeral at this difficult time however, we are doing our upmost to make the process as easy as possible and will follow your wishes, as best we can, taking into account the safe wellbeing of all concerned.
